The mission of the London Chamber Orchestra - the UK’s first professional chamber orchestra - is the same today as it has always been - to change how people experience classical music.   Here, we created a new look for their 2017-2018 season; a series of concerts each with a different emotion as its theme.

A chamber orchestra allows the audience to have an intimate and completely immersixe experience of classical music. In essence the audience feels like they are swimming in sound, and this is what we wanted to capture. After immersing the LCO logo in a sea of colours each emotion was assigned unique patterns of paint creating a feeling of empathy, wanderlust, jealousy, joy and nostalgia. The stills and film became the visual identity for each concert, in posters and concert programmes as well as appearing online and in social media.
